During this time of celebration and miracles, we ask you to join us at an event you won’t forget! Our Hershey Red Robin will host a very unique Benefit Art Gallery, consisting completely of paintings created by The Amnesia Artist’s (Sierra Wertz, wife to valuable Hershey Red Robin team member, Cory Wertz). View and PURCHASE one-of-a-kind acrylic paintings, with many different styles and techniques. Currently, she has over 57 finished pieces and each day, she creates more and more. If you wish to see some of her pieces before the Benefit, visit her Facebook Page & Shop @SierraWertzArtist. Learn about their unique story and why she is known as The Amnesia Artist. And yes, we will be sure to provide the YUMMM, also.

How Can I purchase a piece by The Amnesia Artist?

If you wish to get a preview of what will be displayed at the Benefit Art Gallery on December 16th, please visit The Amnesia Artist Facebook Page, @SierraWertzArtist.

At the Benefit, you can see Sierra’s artwork in purchase, and make purchases ON SITE and leave with your piece to keep for yourself or to give as a one-of-a-kind gift for the holidays! Cash or credit will be accepted, on site, at the Benefit.

The Amnesia Artist will also have business cards available, as well as order forms to request specific/similar pieces that may have already been sold.

Why is Sierra know as The Amnesia Artist?

What happens if the movie 50 First Dates was really YOUR life? For Sierra Wertz, that’s her reality. On September 19th, 2019, Sierra had a panic attack that caused a rare form of amnesia. This causes her life to reset every time she wakes up. 50% of the time, she wakes up and believes that it is September 19th, 2019. The other 50% of the time, she wakes up and believes it’s April 11th, 2012…when she was 14 years old. When she wakes up, she is extremely tired and this causes her to “switch” multiple times in a day. When she was 14, she was really into art and painting. So for Sierra, her husband Cory and their family to have some sort of a normal life each day, she creates beautiful works of art. This keeps her focused and able to express herself with great detail.

The purpose of the Benefit Art Gallery at Red Robin is to get Sierra’s beautiful pieces of art out to the world, to help others express themselves. All of the money obtained from this event will go to the Wertz family, to assist them financially: lost wages and extra expenses due to her condition.

Art is so much deeper than just an image on a canvas. It is about more than just paint and skill and seeing what happens. Art is an emotion. Art is experiences. Art is relationships. Art is life, and everything that comes with it. To say that it is powerful is an understatement. Art makes you think. It makes you feel. It helps you discover parts about yourself and the world around you. Art is something that makes the world go round.
