Natalie Loney, LVRG Human Resource Business Partner: Hi guys! Natalie here along with 65 fellow Red Robin team member, all sporting our stylish new shirts at the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Light the Night walk.
[Red Robin Walk Team cheering in the background]Natalie [voiceover]: This year, the Red Robin team joined thousands of others to help raise money and support for cancer patients and their families. But our team does a lot more than just walk. Check out a few of these big numbers.
Dave Burrington, LVRG Human Resources Business Partner: $100. That’s how much each of the 350 “big hitters” raised in order to be recognized as a Champion for the Cure. Along with access to a special celebration area, each champion also received a delicious meal, compliments of our Red Robin team. We’re also proud sponsors of the Family Fun Zone, with face painting…pumpkin decorating… and activities built to make sure that, along with dollars, we also raise the bar on having Fun!
Patricia Meyers, LVRG Director of Marketing: And our support goes way beyond just this event. My family, personally, has actually made homemade dog biscuits and we raised over $1,000 just in the month of August. And I can tell you…[feeds a dog biscuit to a Siberian Husky] they are a hit.
Patricia [voiceover]: 2010…that was the first year we became involved in this event and since then, we’ve raised almost $700,000. This year alone, we’ll raise nearly $125,000. And we’re proud to announce that this year, the Red Robin Team was the top Corporate fundraiser for 2017. Together, we’re on a never-ending quest to make burgers, and lives, better. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society “Light the Night Walk” is a perfect example of how we come together to make a difference. Consider this your personal invitation to join us next year. You won’t regret it.
